Anthropic’s pricing page, help-center articles (usage and length limits, the Pro and Max plan pages, usage credits, Claude Code on Pro and Max, API rate limits) and its product announcements. When a statement comes from these, we say so and link to it.
The messages Claude shows when a limit is reached, and the Settings → Usage screen. These are the most accurate signal for any individual account and we always point readers there first.
Message counts such as “around 45 per five hours on Pro” and “at least 225 / 900 on Max” come from Anthropic’s help-center articles on Pro and Max usage. They are approximations written for short messages on a light model, and they predate the 2026 limit changes, so we present them as guidance, explain what makes the real number go up or down, and never as guarantees.
We do not describe workarounds that break Anthropic’s terms, such as multiple accounts, and we do not speculate about internal quotas we cannot verify.
Cadence
Each guide is re-read against the official sources at least every two weeks. The visible “Reviewed” date, the structured-data date and the sitemap date are updated together only when something on the page actually changed.
When Anthropic announces or ships a limit change, the homepage changelog and the affected guides are updated within two working days.
If you find an error, write to us with a link to the source. Corrections are made on the page and noted in the changelog when they change a figure.
German and Hebrew guides are translations of the English text and are updated in the same pass. Where a plan or feature differs by region, the English page is the reference.
